In her stunning new collection of poems, Like Beggar, Ellen Bass invites readers to join her on a journey toward transcendence. Through her evocative language and deeply personal insights, Bass explores the themes of love, loss, and spiritual awakening.

Bass's poems are both intimate and universal. She writes about the joys and heartbreaks of love, the pain of loss, and the search for meaning in a world that can often feel chaotic and overwhelming. But even in her darkest moments, Bass never loses her sense of hope. She writes with a deep belief in the power of love and the possibility of redemption.

Like Beggar is a powerful and moving collection of poems that will resonate with readers of all ages and backgrounds. Bass's writing is both beautiful and thought-provoking, and her insights into the human condition are both profound and deeply moving.
